Dr. Winnie Fritz visits
Manila
Dr.
Winnie Fritz, HCCA’s Chief Nursing Officer will
visit Manila in June to conduct educational seminars
for HCCA nurses and the general Filipino nursing
community. Dr. Fritz is the founder of HCCA
Institute of Nursing Excellence (INE). The
Institute, in collaboration with the Bayani Nurse
Center, conducts training on US Nursing Core
Competencies and various other topics, which are
aimed to help in facilitating the easy acculturation
of the nurses to life and work in the US.
Dr. Fritz serves as
consultant to international hospitals on JCI
accreditation, has been awarded the Medal of Honor
for her work with the Jordanian Healthcare System,
served as Administrator of the Presidential Suite of
Walter Reed Hospital, as CNO of several hospitals
and Assistant Professor, teaching graduate programs
at Georgetown University, University of Maryland,
University of Missouri and the University of Nevada.
She has presented numerous seminars and workshops in
the Philippines for such groups as ANSAP, PNA, The
3rd World Congress for Critical Care, UST School of
Nursing, Manila Doctor’s College and Hospital and
St. Luke’s Medical Center.
