HCCA welcomes 54th Client Hospital in the Philippines for New Year!

by Angela Vinoya

Wake Forest Medical CenterHCCA Philippines is pleased to welcome one of America's finest teaching medical centers and our 54th client hospital, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center to the Philippines. During the first week of February, the hospital will be interviewing Medical Surgical and Operating Room nurses.

The hospital operates 1,238 acute care, rehabilitation and long-term care beds, outpatient services, and community health and information centers and is the largest employer in Winston-Salem or “Twin City”.

According to the U.S. News & World Report, The Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center has been ranked as one of “America's Best Hospitals” since 1993, and in the Carolinas it is known to be the first Magnet® Hospital, a prestigious distinction which recognizes hospitals for excellence in nursing.

Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center is a great hospital for being accommodating, nurturing, and supportive of their nurses. The hired nurses can look forward to their six pharmacies, a really nice and quaint cafeteria open until 3 AM, and a Wachovia Bank with a Credit Union. The residence provided is walking distance to the hospital and grocery. It has a very diverse community because of the University and Medical School in the area. The hospital staffing has ten Filipinos, and they are well-loved for their hard work, diligence, and perseverance. One is even a Medical ICU Unit Manager who’s coming along to Manila for the interview.
