OSF Saint francis comes to manila
HCCA was pleased to host OSF Saint Francis Medical Center, a "Magnet" hospital from Peoria, Illinois. (Magnet certified hospitals must meet stringent quantitative and qualitative standards that define the highest quality of nursing practice and patient care.) "Besides outstanding nursing care they are known for taking outstanding care of their nurses", said Beth Gray, HCCA Philippines coordinator for the project. 
Four representatives from OSF, as well as HCCA International's Director of Client Services, Bonnie Young made the trip. The week long fest including among other activities Filipino acculturation programs, a local hospital tour, a jeepney ride, and was capped off with a dinner celebration at Dad's.
Thirty-one HCCA nurses are destined for this outstanding medical facility.
